The 24-year-old academy graduate has re-established himself as an important figure since returning to the club in 2024, featuring in all but seven of Fulhamâs 33 Premier League matches so far this season.
Sessegnon, who first broke through as one of English footballâs brightest young talents during Fulhamâs promotion push in 2017-18, said he is delighted to continue his second spell in west London.
âOf course, itâs the Club that Iâve always wanted to be at,â Sessegnon told club media.
âIâm very comfortable at this Club, Iâm happy with how itâs going, last season and now this season as well, and I just want to finish the season strongly.â
Sessegnonâs return has helped provide versatility and depth for Marco Silvaâs side, with the former Tottenham and Hoffenheim man capable of operating at left-back, wing-back or further forward.
Fulham chief Tony Khan welcomed the extension and praised the playerâs long-standing connection to the club.
âI am thrilled to announce that Ryan Sessegnonâs contract option has been triggered, and that he will extend his time here at Fulham for at least another year,â Khan said.
âRyan spent much of his childhood in the Club, developing under the guidance of the Fulham Academy leadership.â
Khan also reflected on Sessegnonâs remarkable early rise, which saw him become Championship Player of the Season at just 17 before helping Fulham win promotion to the Premier League in 2018.
âAfter spending five years away, Ryan came home in 2024 and has made important contributions since his return to the Club,â he added.
âRyan is a tremendous professional and a wonderful person, and weâre all excited that he will be back next season!â
The extension represents another boost for Fulham as they plan for next season, with Sessegnon now hoping to end the current campaign strongly before continuing his story with the club where it all began.
