The 19-year-old midfielder joined the Swedish club ahead of the 2026 campaign and has quickly established himself as an important member of the first team. He has scored twice and registered three assists in 24 Allsvenskan appearances, starting 23 of those matches.
Doumbia is under contract with Häcken until the end of the 2030 season, but his performances have reportedly brought him to the attention of clubs across Europe.
FC Basel, Nice, Strasbourg and Rennes have previously been linked with the midfielder. Turkish side Trabzonspor have also emerged as potential suitors, with reports suggesting they were preparing an offer.
Turkish publication Fanatik claimed that Trabzonspor were considering a bid worth €5 million, with their interest potentially increasing ahead of the January transfer window.
Now Fotbollskanalen names Premier League sides Everton, Sunderland and Coventry City among those to have scouted the Häcken player.
The list of interested clubs is extensive. Celtic, Paris FC, Bayer Leverkusen, Club Brugge, SC Freiburg and Lens are also reported to have watched Doumbia, alongside previously linked Strasbourg and Nice.
Häcken therefore face the prospect of increased attention surrounding one of their most promising young players as the transfer window approaches.
The Swedish side have enjoyed a strong league campaign and were fourth in the Allsvenskan after 26 rounds, with 46 points. They remain in contention for European qualification, with matches against IFK Göteborg, AIK, Elfsborg and Djurgårdens IF still to come.
Doumbia’s long contract gives Häcken a strong position in any potential negotiations, while the reported interest from several leagues could create competition for his signature.
