Former Everton physio Mick Rathbone has recalled Tim Cahill being brought to tears when realising he was signing for the Toffees.
Cahill had been identified by Blues manager David Moyes at the time after impressing outside the Premier League with Millwall.
Cahill would go onto captain Everton and also Australia, establishing himself as one the greats for both club and country.
For Rathbone, Cahill has never changed since that emotional day when undergoing his medical ahead of putting pen to paper on a first Everton contract.
