Former Sunderland goalkeeper Chris Turner admits he was left delighted with his old club's showing in the Premier League this past season.
Turner says he enjoyed watching Regis Le Bris' team this season, having been a regular attendee at the Stadium of Light this past campaign - and also the promotion-winning season last term.
Turner, who spent seven years with Sunderland, playing almost 200 games for the club, says the key to their rapid rise over the past two years has been to their recruitment, which he describes as nothing short than outstanding.
