Klopp currently works as Red Bull’s Head of Global Soccer after stepping away from management following his departure from Liverpool in 2024.
Paris FC are part of the wider Red Bull football network, creating a direct connection between the French club and the former Borussia Dortmund and Liverpool manager.
Speaking to RMC programme After Foot, Arnault revealed Klopp would be his dream appointment.
“If we qualify for the Champions League, I would love to convince Jurgen Klopp to come to us and take over our team,” Arnault said.
The billionaire businessman acknowledged Klopp has no immediate plans to return to coaching but suggested the situation could change over time.
“Who doesn’t dream of having Jurgen Klopp, with his sunny personality and football genius?” Arnault added.
“He does not want to return to a coaching role soon. But maybe in three, four or five years.”
Paris FC have been aggressively building their long-term project in recent seasons as they attempt to establish themselves alongside Paris Saint-Germain in the French capital.
The club’s connection to Red Bull has increased speculation around future ambitions, particularly after significant structural investment behind the scenes.
Former Liverpool and Borussia Dortmund coach Klopp’s appointment to Red Bull’s global football operation earlier this year immediately sparked questions about whether he could eventually return to club management within the network.
For now, the German remains focused on his executive role rather than coaching.
But Arnault’s comments underline the scale of ambition growing around Paris FC’s project.
