Former Manchester United and Arsenal defender Mikael Silvestre recalls tipping a young Ousmane Dembele as a future Ballon d'Or winner when working with the France star with Rennes.

Silvestre was Rennes sporting director when the PSG star was with the club and eventually oversaw his sale to Jurgen Klopp's Borussia Dortmund The Frenchman goes into great detail why he was convinced a teenage Dembele could win the Ballon d'Or in the future, revealing he had the same feeling as when he and his former Manchester United teammates encountered a teenage Cristiano Ronaldo in that famous friendly against Sporting Lisbon.

Silvestre confirms the story that he and his United teammates urged then manager Sir Alex Ferguson to sign the little-known Portuguese winger at the time.

Silvestre also considers whether PSG will be Dembele's last club, knowing his family and his connections to Paris.
