Aston Villa have registered concrete interest in the English centre-back, according to Gazzetta dello Sport, with the 1997-born defender open to the move and reportedly preferring Unai Emery's side over other suitors, including Juventus.
Talks between the clubs are ongoing, though Villa are said to be weighing other defensive targets alongside Tomori. The coming days are expected to be decisive: for Milan, a deal in the region of €10-15m would free up funds to pursue further reinforcements at the back.
Rafael Leão's situation, meanwhile, remains unresolved despite continued interest from Galatasaray.
Speaking on Sky Calcio Club l'Originale, transfer journalist Gianluca Di Marzio said AC Milan have no intention of lowering their valuation of the Portuguese winger to accommodate the Turkish club.
"There's no sale time at Milan right now — quite the opposite," Di Marzio said. "From what we understand, the club has no intention of coming down from their asking price to sell Leão to Turkey.
"The figure stands: at least €60m, maybe €50m plus add-ons, but definitely higher than the €35m offered by Galatasaray. The mantra is simple: Leão isn't being sold on the cheap."
Milan's squad has already been reshaped significantly this summer, with the confirmed arrivals of Diego Moreira, Gonçalo Ramos and Mario Gila giving Amorim a substantially strengthened group to work with. Even so, resolving the futures of fringe or unwanted players — Tomori included — remains an active priority as the club looks to balance the books before the transfer window closes.
Tomori has made 214 appearances for Milan since joining from Chelsea, but his contract expires in June 2027, and with Amorim reportedly excluding him from the squad for a recent friendly against Manchester United, the writing appears to be on the wall for his time at San Siro.
