Goodman, who qualifies for both England and Canada and was included in the latter's squad for this summer's World Cup, has spent his entire senior career out on loan since joining Palace's academy at Under-13 level, with spells at Colchester United and AFC Wimbledon preceding a split 2025-26 season between Huddersfield Town and Barnsley.
His half-season at Wimbledon in 2024-25 proved the standout of that run, helping the club win promotion to League One and earning him a place in the division's Team of the Season alongside the Golden Glove award for League Two's outstanding goalkeeper.
The mixed campaign that followed saw him make 12 appearances for Huddersfield before a January move to Barnsley, where he took over as first-choice and started all but three of the matches for which he was available through to the end of the season.
"It's a big league, the Scottish Premiership. There's some big games. When Dundee came in, it was just something I had to go for," Goodman said. "I'm excited for a new challenge and the next step in my career, and I'm happy to try something new. The pitch looks unbelievable, and everyone has been really welcoming so I'm excited for it all."
Izquierdo, 21, has signed a one-year contract with Crawley, with the option of a further year, after being released by Palace at the end of last season having featured for the club's Under-21s in the EFL Trophy without making a first-team appearance. Crawley boss Colin Kazim-Richards said the goalkeeper had impressed since arriving at the club.
"He came in towards the start of pre-season and has done really well, and took to what we wanted to do straight away," Kazim-Richards said. "He will be fighting for his position, which is exactly what we want, and I think he has a great future ahead of him," Kazim-Richards added, with Izquierdo expected to provide competition for the number one jersey as Crawley prepare for the new League Two season.
