Tottenham are prepared to reduce their asking price for Richarlison to €10 million in January, with the Brazilian forward expected to leave after falling out of the first-team picture.

The 29-year-old has a contract at Spurs until June 2027, but his position at the club has deteriorated to the point where the hierarchy are prepared to accept a substantially lower fee to secure his departure.

Richarlison has been absent from the senior squad and has not featured for the first team since August. He recently returned to action with Tottenham's Under-21 side, scoring a goal, but remains outside the plans for the senior team.

According to Agência RTI Esporte, Tottenham have reduced their valuation to €10m, approximately R$56m. Their previous asking price during the summer transfer window was close to €25m.

The change reflects the club's desire to resolve the situation in January rather than risk losing the forward for nothing when his contract expires. Richarlison will be able to sign a pre-contract agreement with an overseas club from January, potentially leaving Tottenham without a transfer fee at the end of the season.

Brazilian side Vasco da Gama came close to signing him on loan during the previous transfer window. The proposed arrangement would have seen Richarlison join for six months, and Tottenham were reportedly willing to accept the deal.

However, administrative complications prevented the move from being completed. Vasco subsequently decided against making a permanent offer, believing the financial demands were beyond the club's reach.

The reduced valuation has prompted renewed interest from the Brazilian side, although there are no negotiations currently underway. Vasco are understood to be considering whether to make fresh contact to establish Tottenham's expectations and the player's own intentions.

A return to Brazil is not Richarlison's preferred option at this stage, however. Despite his connection with Vasco, the forward believes he still has opportunities in European football and would rather remain on the continent.

Turkey has emerged as a possible destination, with Trabzonspor and Galatasaray both linked with the Brazilian. Trabzonspor reportedly made an approach to Tottenham in August, but the English club rejected it. Galatasaray have also shown interest and are understood to have been in contact with the player's representatives.

With Tottenham lowering their demands and Richarlison's contract entering its final 18 months, January could provide an opportunity for all parties to find a solution. Whether that means a move to Turkey or another European destination remains to be seen.
