Spurs continue their pre-season with three fixtures across Auckland and Sydney, following a narrow 1-0 win over League One side MK Dons at Hotspur Way on Wednesday. Kulusevski and Kudus have both been omitted from Roberto De Zerbi's 35-man travelling squad as they continue to struggle for fitness.
There had been hope that Kudus was closing in on a return, having not featured for Tottenham since suffering a significant quad injury against Sunderland in January, with the midfielder recently pictured back in the gym at the club's training base.
Kulusevski's situation appears more concerning, however, with the Swede yet to be pictured back at the Enfield training ground and fears growing over his ongoing knee problems. He has not played for Tottenham in 14 months, having undergone surgery on his right patella after sustaining the injury ahead of the club's Europa League triumph in May 2025.
Two further wide players have also been left behind, with Wilson Odobert and Xavi Simons remaining in London to continue their rehabilitation from cruciate knee ligament surgeries, with both still considered months away from full fitness. Tottenham have also confirmed that goalkeeper Guglielmo Vicario will miss the tour after picking up a minor knock in training.
On a more positive note, £185million duo Sandro Tonali and Mateus Fernandes - fresh from his stunning strike against MK Dons - will both travel with the squad to the southern hemisphere. Fellow summer signings Andy Robertson, Jan Paul van Hecke and Martin Dubravka will also experience their first tour with the club, while Marcos Senesi has been given an extended break after reaching the World Cup final with Argentina.
