Nallo, 19, was left out of Andoni Iraola's squad for Liverpool's pre-season tour of the United States as he finalised the season-long move to Finland's capital, reports the Athletic.
HJK were keen to bring him in, and Liverpool believe regular senior football will aid his development after a difficult start to life in the first team. Based in Helsinki, HJK are Finland's most successful club, having won a record 33 top-flight titles.
The former West Ham youngster was sent off just four minutes after coming on for his debut against PSV Eindhoven in the Champions League in January 2025, and suffered the same fate on his next senior outing, against Crystal Palace in the Carabao Cup nine months later. Since then he has been largely restricted to Under-21 football, with his only other first-team appearance coming against Qarabag in the Champions League this past January.
Kelly, meanwhile, joins Forest Green until January having come through the Liverpool youth system since the age of 14. The left-footed midfielder overcame an injury early last season to return to the Under-21 side in January, going on to make 11 appearances before the campaign's end. He made his senior international debut for St Kitts and Nevis in March 2024, having previously represented England at Under-15 level.
Forest Green manager Robbie Savage welcomed the signing. "What a great guy, very excited to have Kyle join us at FGR. He loves a tackle, loves getting around the pitch, a very promising young talent who is thought of very highly at Liverpool."
Both moves form part of a broader pattern of Liverpool loaning out promising academy players this summer, giving them the chance to gain senior experience away from Anfield before potentially pushing for involvement with the club's first team or Under-21 setup in future seasons.
