RB Leipzig are intensifying their pursuit of AIK right winger Zadok Yohanna ahead of the summer transfer window, with the 18-year-old Nigerian attracting growing attention from across Europe.

Sportbladet reported that RB Leipzig have scouted Yohanna on multiple occasions this season and plan to watch him again on Sunday against Djurgårdens IF, with concrete interest already established at the German club.

Sky Sports Germany's Florian Plettenberg first broke the story of Bundesliga involvement, reporting that Borussia Dortmund, Leipzig and Bayer Leverkusen are all monitoring the teenager's progress in Allsvenskan. Tottenham Hotspur, Chelsea, Ajax and Club Brugge have also been linked.

Yohanna joined AIK from Ikon Allah Academy in Nigeria in July 2025, signing a contract through to December 2029. He made his senior debut in August last year and has since posted four goals and three assists across nine appearances in the current campaign.

A right winger with an instinctive left foot, he is noted for his pace, close control and directness in one-against-one situations — qualities that Nigeria's youth coaches famously failed to appreciate. He was released from both the Under-17 and Under-20 setups before Swedish scouts identified him on a scouting trip.

AIK are under no obligation to sell and have the security of a long contract. The club can also set their price — reports suggest a fee in the region of €15million would be required.

Whether Leipzig move first, or Dortmund or Leverkusen sharpen their interest, is the question Allsvenskan is now watching week by week.
