"Lautaro is the strongest, luckily he plays with us, but Thuram has also impressed me," the goalkeeper, tipped to become Inter's undisputed number one, said.
He reserved particular praise for Francesco Pio Esposito, the young forward pushing hard for a regular starting role.
"I suffer against Pio Esposito in training and a great future - and a great present - awaits him. He's humble."
Martinez, who has seen limited game time so far during his time at the club, was also full of gratitude for head coach Cristian Chivu, crediting him with steadying the squad during a difficult period.
"It's not easy to take over a team and immediately do well after the previous year we finished bottom of everything without managing to win anything. He gave us great confidence during a difficult moment, he's been fundamental."
Asked about Tottenham fullback Djed Spence, a target for Inter Milan this summer who was previously a team-mate of Martinez's at Genoa, the goalkeeper had similarly warm words.
"He can give us a hand, he already had great potential back then."
Martinez's comments come as Inter continue their pre-season preparations, with the Spanish goalkeeper increasingly expected to be handed the gloves on a more regular basis this season after a debut campaign at the club that yielded only sporadic opportunities.
Martinez joined Inter Milan from Genoa in the summer of 2024 in a deal worth around €15million, signing a five-year contract that runs until 2029. The move was always designed with a long-term succession plan in mind, with the goalkeeper initially expected to serve as understudy to Yann Sommer before gradually taking over as first choice.
He made his Inter debut in the Coppa Italia against Udinese in December 2024, keeping a clean sheet, and arrives at this season with growing expectation that he will now be given a proper chance to establish himself as Chivu's undisputed number one.
