Bournemouth are looking for an outright transfer rather than another loan, having strengthened their forward line with Uruguayan Álvaro Rodríguez and are said to be in no rush to let Ünal leave for nothing.

Now 29, the Turkey international is looking to reignite his career after a modest spell in the Premier League, hopeful that a familiar environment in Spain can restore the form that once made him one of LaLiga's most reliable forwards.
Ünal made his name in Spain across spells with Villarreal, Levante, Real Valladolid and Getafe after arriving from Turkish side Bursaspor as an 18-year-old, initially in a deal with Manchester City that never yielded a first-team appearance.
