Ilicevic has attracted attention from both Spanish giants as well as Manchester City, AC Milan and Inter Milan, with Sky reporting that the clubs are following the Germany Under-17 international’s development.
The attacking midfielder has emerged as one of the promising young players at Eintracht Frankfurt, although he is yet to make his first-team debut.
Bayern Munich have also previously shown strong interest in Ilicevic, but Eintracht remain confident about keeping the teenager and developing him within the club.
Ilicevic signed a training contract with the Frankfurt side in early July that runs until 2029. According to Bild, the agreement will become a professional contract when he turns 18.
That arrangement gives Eintracht some protection as interest from leading European clubs grows, although the teenager’s performances will continue to be monitored closely.
For Real Madrid and Barcelona, the attraction is clear. Both clubs regularly scout emerging talent across Europe, and Ilicevic’s development has now brought him onto their radar at an early stage.
Manchester City, Milan and Inter are also watching the situation, meaning Eintracht could face significant competition for the youngster if he continues to progress.
For now, however, Ilicevic remains an Eintracht player and the club have no immediate reason to rush his development. His next objective is to make the step towards first-team football before deciding what comes next.
With his current agreement potentially keeping him at the club until 2029, Eintracht are in a strong position to oversee that progression.
