According to Record, as the 17-year-old Polish winger's rapid breakthrough in Portugal has triggered a scramble among English clubs, including Manchester United, Liverpool, Manchester United and now Newcastle United ahead of an expected contract upgrade that will increase his release clause.
Pietuszewski joined Porto from Jagiellonia Bialystok in January in a deal worth up to €10 million — a record sale for the Polish club. He has since scored three goals and registered four assists across 15 appearances, averaging over six dribbles per game in a debut that has significantly outpaced expectations.
His current contract runs until January 2029, with a release clause of €60 million — around £52 million. Porto are moving to offer him a new deal until June 2031 now that he is approaching his 18th birthday on 20 May, and plan to increase that clause as part of the agreement. Any club wishing to trigger it before that happens faces a narrowing window.
Chelsea, Atletico Madrid, Borussia Dortmund, and Bayern Munich are also monitoring his development, according to Record. Dortmund are said to view his pace and suitability for transition play as exceptional, while Arsenal have also been linked with a potential opening approach.
Pietuszewski was already on Premier League clubs' radars before Porto moved for him in January, with his decision to choose Portugal over England at 17 reflecting a deliberate plan from his camp to develop at a level where regular football was more guaranteed.
His former Jagiellonia coach Adrian Siemieniec said of the teenager: "I admire this boy because he has the potential to be a truly great footballer and is already asserting himself with league and European competitions."
Porto have no intention of selling this summer and regard him as their most valuable young asset.
