"Robert, behave like a man. You are not just anyone. You are the most famous Pole in history, and you allow yourself to be treated like this?" Tomaszewski said.
"If Robert leaves now, let Barcelona do whatever they want and win the Spanish championship. I am convinced that wherever Robert plays, whether in MLS or another team, he will be regarded as he deserves."
Tomaszewski then turned his fire on Flick, accusing the German of incompetence and drawing a direct parallel with his time managing the German national team: "You ruined the whole situation, just as you ruined your job with the German national team. Your time at Barça won't end well."
He also suggested Deco nominate Flick for the Nobel Prize "for having ruined such a team."
Lewandowski's contract expires on 30 June. Barcelona have offered a reduced one-year extension, but his agent Pini Zahavi is understood to be exploring alternatives including Juventus, AC Milan and MLS. The striker himself has remained measured, saying he is not yet 50 per cent sure on his next destination.
