Daniel Mikolajewski enjoyed a standout campaign with Parma's Primavera side last season, scoring prolifically enough to earn a loan move to Switzerland, where he has made an immediate impact with goals and assists in the country's top flight.
Parma have now added his younger brother to their academy, with Maksymilian, born in 2009, joining the club's Under-18 squad on a permanent transfer from Jaguar Gdansk.
The move was confirmed by the player's agents as well as Maksymilian himself, who shared the news of his move to Parma on his Instagram stories, effectively making the transfer official.
The signing represents a fresh addition to Parma's youth setup and continues the club's recent focus on recruiting promising talent from the Polish market, a strategy that paid off handsomely with Daniel's development at Collecchio.
Daniel arrived at Parma in 2022 from the same Polish club, Jaguar Gdansk, having initially attracted interest from Roma before the Italian club stepped in. He went on to score prolifically for Parma's Primavera side, contributing to a run to the Primavera 1 title final last season, before earning his senior debut against Napoli in April.
His loan to Switzerland this season is designed to give him regular senior football before a potential return to Parma once he has gained further experience abroad.
