Aubameyang's headed equaliser means the Gabon international has now scored in each of Deportivo La Coruna's opening five La Liga matches, leaving him just one goal short of Walter Pandiani's club record of six, set during the 2003-04 season.
Speaking to Movistar Plus after the 1-1 draw, Navarro was full of praise for his team-mate's remarkable start to life at the club.
"Aubameyang is a world-class star. Everyone knows the player he is. His run of form is impressive," Navarro said. "We try to help him as much as possible to score goals and try to take advantage of the moment he's in. Hopefully he scores every matchday. Very happy with his signing. A top-level player and he gives us so much."
The Deportivo captain also praised the veteran forward's professionalism and physical condition at 37 years of age.
"He has a privileged physique. He has an athlete's body. He trains a lot. It's an example for all the young players to watch him train. Impressive since the day he arrived, and we should enjoy him."
Navarro also reflected on the match itself, suggesting Deportivo could have taken more than a point from their trip to the Coliseum.
"I think at times in the second half we felt we could take the game. When we managed to string passes together we felt comfortable with the ball and we were able to break their first lines. With their goal, which caught us in an open move, we kept rowing as we always do and we got the goal that gave us the point. The feeling from that second half is that we could have taken the win."
The right-back also acknowledged the scale of the challenge facing a newly promoted side in La Liga.
"The top flight is very difficult. We're newcomers after many years away. I think we have a very good team. We've started well, we have to fight in every match. Coming to Getafe is difficult. They compete well, they're a tough side. Happy with the start, but we would have liked to take the win today."
Deportivo remain unbeaten after five matches and will next host Sevilla at Riazor on Wednesday.
