Spurs have made a busy start to the summer transfer window, and there is the possibility of more business over the next few weeks.
Tottenham have signed Andy Robertson, Marcos Senesi and Martin Dubravka on free transfers, while Jan Paul van Hecke has also arrived on a permanent deal from Brighton and Hove Albion worth £52million.
It was also confirmed on Thursday that Spurs have completed the signing of Mateus Fernandes from West Ham United, having agreed a deal worth £85million for the Portugal international.
Tottenham's spending may not be over, with Savinho still being linked with a move to north London, and now the Brazilian has provided a hint that a transfer could be on the cards.
Fernandes took to Instagram to send a message after being confirmed as a new Tottenham player, where he wrote: "I'm ready !! I can't wait to see you all at our stadium. See you soon."
The post from the 21-year-old received more than 84,000 likes, including one from Savinho, which will only fuel speculation that a move to Tottenham could be on the cards.
Savinho has been linked with a move to Spurs for some time, but it remains to be seen what the future holds for the Manchester City star, who had an injury-hit second season at the Etihad Stadium last term.
The 22-year-old, who moved to City from Troyes in 2024, made just 24 appearances for Pep Guardiola's team in the Premier League last season, and has seen his future become the subject of speculation with Enzo Maresca now confirmed as the club's new manager.
Tottenham are understood to have previously proposed a package worth around £45million to £50million for Savinho, with personal terms already believed to be in place between the player and the club.
City, meanwhile, have set their own valuation for the winger at a figure well above what they originally paid to sign him from Troyes, reflecting his rise in stature since arriving in the Premier League.
