Wanner, who signed a five-year deal after his permanent move to PSV in the summer of 2025 in a deal that succeeded former Bayern teammate Malik Tillman at the Philips Stadion, scored three goals and provided three assists in 22 Eredivisie appearances last season for the Dutch club.
According to Sportowy, Liverpool, Manchester City and Real Madrid have all sent scouts to run the rule over the 20-year-old in recent weeks, while his old club Bayern Munich are also continuing to monitor his progress in the Netherlands.
None of the interested parties have made a concrete approach so far, with all four clubs said to still be in the early scouting phase rather than preparing any formal bid. PSV are understood to value Wanner at between €45 million and €50 million, having paid Bayern an initial €15 million for his signature just over a year ago.
Since joining from Bayern, Wanner has scored five goals and set up five more in 39 appearances for PSV in all competitions, though he has featured sparingly so far this season under head coach Peter Bosz as he works his way back up to full fitness and form.
A product of the Bayern academy, he became the youngest player in the club's history to make his Bundesliga debut before loan spells at Elversberg and Heidenheim, and Bayern retain a buy-back clause in his contract that would allow them to bring him back to Bavaria in future should his stock keep rising.
Wanner represented Germany at youth level up to under-21 but switched allegiance to Austria, for whom he has since won seven senior caps.
His versatility, capable of playing as an attacking midfielder, a deeper playmaker or on the wing, has been a significant part of his appeal to the clubs now watching him, with Liverpool in particular said to be seeking more creativity and mobility through the middle of their side as they weigh up potential midfield additions for future windows.
