The 27-year-old managed five goals and four assists across 41 appearances for Tottenham, used predominantly out of position on the right flank rather than as the central striker he prefers. Spurs will not exercise any purchase option and his return to the French capital was confirmed at the end of the season.
PSG have no intention of keeping him. Kolo Muani does not figure in head coach Luis Enrique's plans, and the club are actively seeking a new destination for a player contracted until June 2028 and valued at around โฌ40 million.
According to TRT Sport, AS Roma are on the verge of submitting an official approach to PSG. Como, who will also compete in the Champions League next season, are similarly keen.
The Serie A dimension is significant. Juventus had been considered the frontrunner for much of the season, having held preliminary discussions with PSG after Kolo Muani's previous loan spell at the Turin club in the first half of 2024-25. However, Juventus's failure to qualify for Champions League football this season has weakened their position considerably. Both Roma and Como can offer European football at the highest level โ precisely the environment Kolo Muani is understood to want.
Turkish clubs have also expressed interest, though the player has no desire to leave one of Europe's top five leagues at this point in his career. He was also absent from France's World Cup squad, meaning he enters the summer without international exposure to boost his profile.
His time at Tottenham did not relaunch his career in the way he had hoped, but the underlying interest in him remains real. A move to Serie A, where he showed his best form at Juventus, may yet prove the right context.
