Juventus weigh Udinese swap options for Solet as Kolo Muani rumbles on

Juventus continue to monitor Udinese centre-back Oumar Solet, with two possible makeweights emerging that could smooth a deal between the two clubs.

The former Salzburg defender, who made 35 appearances last season and is valued at €25m by Udinese, is a name Juventus want to keep in reserve alongside other targets should the conditions arise for Gleison Bremer's departure.

During a meeting with Udinese's hierarchy in recent hours, Juventus also asked about Danish defender Thomas Kristensen, but it is Udinese who may have their eye on players heading the other way.

Corriere dello Sport reports Montenegrin forward Vasilije Adzic, a 2006-born talent currently frozen out at Juventus and in need of regular football, as one option, while Juan Cabal - who has already turned down a move to Genoa - could also be offered up as makeweight if the full-back becomes available.

Beyond that swap scenario, head coach Luciano Spalletti still needs a left-footed centre-back, with Bologna's Jhon Lucumi - also of interest to Inter Milan - and Tarik Muharemovic, in whom Juventus retain a 50% stake, the two main options on the table. Signing both is considered unlikely for now and would probably only happen if Lloyd Kelly were to leave.

In attack, negotiations with Paris Saint-Germain over Randal Kolo Muani continue to rumble on despite numerous setbacks. The Frenchman remains Juventus' first choice, with personal terms over a five-year deal worth €5m a season already agreed, though PSG continue to hold firm.

Juventus could stretch to a fixed fee of €35m with add-ons taking it to €37m, while the French club are asking for €40m. Player patience, while a factor, is not decisive, and Juventus' own patience is said to be wearing thin - particularly with Kolo Muani now also attracting interest from the Premier League, where Tottenham are keen given Roberto De Zerbi's past relationship with him, and from clubs in the Bundesliga.

With that route proving difficult, Juventus have opened soundings over Parma's Mateo Pellegrino as a cheaper alternative, a move that could sit alongside a possible Dusan Vlahovic renewal further down the line.
