Some reports in Turkey have floated an even higher figure, close to €13.5 million a season, though the exact terms remain unconfirmed publicly. The 26-year-old is still weighing his options, with Atlético Madrid lurking as a secondary possibility that has yet to advance beyond preliminary interest.
At Continassa, meanwhile, Juventus are negotiating a very different kind of departure. Lazio have reopened talks over Miretti, the 2003-born midfielder who no longer figures prominently in Luciano Spalletti's plans, with the Rome club exploring a straightforward loan to fill the gap left by Danilo Cataldi, who is still working his way back from surgery for a pubic-related injury.
Juventus, however, are pushing back on the structure of any deal. With the club looking to trim the size of its squad and generate funds to help finance its remaining incoming transfers, a season-long loan without conditions is not attractive: a straight loan would only postpone the decision by a year without guaranteeing any income.
Juventus's preference is either an outright sale or a loan carrying an obligation to buy, since a simple option to purchase would leave them running the risk of having Miretti return to Turin in 12 months having played little football and without having increased his value.
