According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, the three Italian clubs have asked about the Portugal international as they assess possible options for their defensive positions.
Dalot joined United from Porto in the summer of 2018 and has spent most of his senior career at Old Trafford. His only previous spell in Serie A came during the 2020-21 season, when he played on loan for AC Milan.
That experience appears to have left a positive impression. Milan are among the clubs monitoring his situation, alongside city rivals Inter and Juventus, although the report stresses that the interest has not yet developed into a concrete transfer proposal.
Dalot remains under contract with United until the summer of 2028. His situation could become more significant if the club do not agree an extension, with the remaining contract period potentially giving interested teams an opportunity to explore a deal in a future window.
The 27-year-old made 34 Premier League appearances last season, recording one goal and three assists as United finished third. His role has been less settled during the current campaign, with five starts among his seven league appearances at the time of the original report.
Manchester United’s difficult start has added to the scrutiny surrounding the squad. The team were reported to be 13th in the Premier League after seven matches, with seven points, and had also suffered a heavy Champions League defeat against Como.
However, Dalot’s importance to United means a departure cannot be assumed. La Gazzetta dello Sport reported that the club regard him as a significant player and would prefer not to lose him, while the Italian sides’ enquiries are still at an exploratory stage.
His previous experience at AC Milan could make a return to Italy an appealing possibility, but any transfer would depend on several factors, including United’s stance, the player’s own preferences and the financial terms involved.
For now, Inter Milan, Milan and Juventus are keeping track of the situation rather than pursuing a confirmed deal. Dalot’s contract position and United’s season may determine whether that initial interest develops into something more substantial in the coming months.
