Harry Kane has set his sights on a future in Major League Soccer rather than a lucrative move to Saudi Arabia, according to Sport1, as the England captain considers life beyond Bayern Munich.
The 33-year-old striker, who has scored 103 goals in 106 appearances for the Bavarian club, is reportedly a "big fan of Florida and the nearby Bahamas" and would prefer a switch to the United States when his time in Germany comes to an end. That moment may not be imminent, however, as both parties are understood to be working on a contract extension beyond his current 2027 deal.
Kane himself addressed the speculation earlier this year, telling Fox Sports that MLS "would be something later in my career when I am thinking about the last couple of years or so."
He added: "I am extremely happy there, my wife and kids are happy to stay and as you get older that is a big part of any decision you make."
The former Tottenham striker has been a revelation since his €100 million move in 2023, finally lifting his trophy curse by winning the Bundesliga title in 2024-25. He has also continued to break records for England, taking his international tally to 74 goals.
While Kane's long-term future is being mapped out, Bayern have secured the services of another attacking prospect on a long-term deal.
Tim Binder has signed his first professional contract with the club, committing to the Allianz Arena until 2030.
The 19-year-old winger, who joined Bayern's academy from FC Augsburg, has yet to make his Bundesliga debut but featured regularly during pre-season. He scored seven goals and provided one assist in 20 appearances for Bayern's reserve team last season and has earned four caps for Germany's Under-19 side.
Sporting director Christoph Freund praised Binder's development and highlighted him as an example of the club's successful youth pathway.
"Tim has great potential: he is fast, strong with the ball at his feet and has a fantastic character," Freund said. "He recently showed his talent during pre-season with the first team.
"Tim is a perfect example of the excellent development opportunities in our academy. He came to us at a young age and has continuously developed in the youth teams. We are happy to continue the journey with him at FC Bayern."
The dual announcements reflect Bayern's twin strategy of retaining their world-class senior stars while simultaneously investing in the next generation of homegrown talent.
