Anthony Gordon is open to leaving Newcastle United this summer, with Arsenal, Bayern Munich and Liverpool all in the running for the England winger as the Magpies face a difficult summer if they miss European qualification.

According to The Telegraph, Gordon wants his future resolved before the World Cup and is willing to explore his options. Newcastle's asking price will exceed £80 million, and the club are keen to keep him under his contract that runs until 2030. However, if they fail to qualify for European football, they may be forced to sell at least one senior player.

Arsenal have the most concrete interest. Gordon's representatives have made the Gunners aware he would be open to joining Mikel Arteta's side, and Arsenal's sporting director Andrea Berta has had the winger under close observation for some time. His profile fits what Arsenal need — a left-sided attacker who can provide goals and creativity at the highest level.

Bayern Munich have moved quickly to complicate the picture. Sky Germany journalist Florian Plettenberg reported that concrete talks have already taken place between Bayern and Gordon's camp, and that the winger has been informed of the Bundesliga club's desire to sign him. Vincent Kompany wants him as competition for Luis Díaz on the left flank. Bayern are expected to offer between €60 and €70 million, a figure Newcastle would not accept.

Liverpool could also rekindle their interest. Gordon comes from a Liverpool-supporting family and the Reds came close to signing him previously. Mohamed Salah's departure at the end of this season leaves Arne Slot needing a top-level winger.

Gordon has established himself as one of the best wide players in the Premier League, contributing goals and assists across two positions for Eddie Howe's side this season. The prospect of a Champions League move is understood to be central to his thinking.
