Falsini joins the Biancoblù club after a successful spell in Roma's youth sector, where he established himself as one of the best Italian coaches at youth level.
"At Roma he coached the Under-16, Under-17 and Primavera sides, winning two Under-16 championships and one Under-17 title, consistently developing talent."
Osian Roberts, Como's head of development, welcomed the appointment.
"We are happy to welcome Gianluca to Como," Roberts said. "After our first meetings it was clear he shared our vision for player development, building teams that play with courage, intelligence and personality. As we prepare for our first season in Primavera 1 and the UEFA Youth League, we believe Gianluca is the ideal person to lead this exciting new chapter. His experience, values and leadership fit perfectly with the culture we are building at Como 1907."
Falsini's arrival comes ahead of a landmark campaign for the club's youth setup, with the Primavera side preparing for their first ever season in Italy's top youth division alongside a maiden UEFA Youth League campaign, underlining the scale of Como's ambitions across every level of the club this summer.
