Kroupi has emerged as one of several alternatives being weighed up by Barcelona's hierarchy, alongside targets elsewhere in Europe, but their sporting leadership regards the Argentine as their clear priority.
Signed from Lorient for around €13m in February 2025, the 20-year-old France Under-21 international enjoyed a breakout debut season on the south coast, scoring 13 goals in 35 Premier League appearances and establishing himself as one of the division's most closely watched young forwards.
His form has also attracted interest from Chelsea, Paris Saint-Germain, Arsenal, Bayern Munich and Manchester City over the course of the summer, but Bournemouth's stance has not shifted at any point.
