"It's not something we're focusing on at all. We're pleased Michael Olise has returned from his holiday," Freund told Sky Sport, before adding: "He will continue to have an important role at Bayern Munich this season, just as he did last year."
Olise has been strongly linked with a move to the Spanish capital in recent weeks, with reports on 15 July from FootMercato claiming the 24-year-old wanted to join Real Madrid this summer following interest from both Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain.
The rumours gathered pace after an outstanding campaign for both club and country, with Olise scoring 15 goals and providing 19 assists in 32 Bundesliga appearances last season, a record haul for a winger in the competition, before adding seven assists in eight matches as France reached the World Cup semi-finals this summer.
Despite the growing speculation, Real Madrid's attention has since shifted towards RB Leipzig winger Yan Diomande, easing some of the pressure on Bayern to consider a sale. Olise remains under contract at the Allianz Arena until the summer of 2029, and Freund's comments suggest the club has no intention of entertaining offers regardless of the reported interest from Spain.
Olise joined Bayern from Crystal Palace in the summer of 2024 and has quickly established himself as one of the club's most important attacking players, developing a productive partnership in France's forward line alongside Kylian Mbappé, Ousmane Dembélé and Bradley Barcola.
Freund's public backing is likely to be seen as a clear signal to Real Madrid that any approach for the winger will be firmly resisted this summer.
Real Madrid had reportedly considered an offer in excess of €200 million for Olise before turning their focus towards Diomande, and Bayern have made clear any move would have required a world-record fee given the winger's importance to Vincent Kompany's side.
The two clubs enjoy a close working relationship, and reports in Germany suggest Real Madrid have privately signalled they have no wish to damage it by pushing the issue further this summer, leaving Olise's immediate future firmly in Munich.
