Hansi Flick names his squad on Saturday for the friendly tournament against Nottingham Forest and Udinese, and the clearest signal from the group he has picked is who's missing from it.
Casadó's exit has effectively already been agreed with the club, and Barcelona are now waiting to finalise terms with Al-Hilal for the midfielder, with the Saudi club having already had one offer of around €30m rejected in July and Barcelona now hoping to push the figure closer to €40m.
Bardghji, meanwhile, has been told in no uncertain terms he won't play a significant role next season, a situation compounded by the summer arrivals of Anthony Gordon and Karim Adeyemi in the areas he would compete for minutes; his own departure remains unresolved between a loan and a permanent sale, with reports suggesting Barcelona could retain a sizeable sell-on clause either way.
Jesse Bisiwu, Barcelona's most recent signing, does travel to Udine, having only joined training with Flick's squad this week. Ronald Araújo, by contrast, is absent because his loan move to Liverpool has already been agreed, reportedly after a meeting with Flick made clear he would not have the prominent role next season he was hoping for, and the Uruguayan said his goodbyes to teammates before the rest of the squad departed.
Also missing is Jofre Torrents, a 19-year-old academy full-back who made his first-team debut last season, and who is close to a move to Ajax; the two clubs have been negotiating for several days and the deal is expected to be finalised on Monday or Tuesday.
The four departures form part of a wider summer reshuffle at the Camp Nou as Barcelona continue trimming their squad, with Casadó and Bardghji's exits set to become the latest in a series of sales this window, alongside Robert Lewandowski, Ansu Fati, Íñigo Peña, Diego Kochen and Marc-André ter Stegen.
Sporting director Deco has been keen to move quickly on outgoing business this year, wary of repeating last summer's situation, when the club still had players unregistered after the league had already started.
