Scouts from Manchester City, Chelsea, Juventus and Ajax also present at the ongoing European Under-17 Championship.
Danish outlet Tipsbladet reported that Barcelona's interest is active and ongoing, with club scouts in attendance at the tournament where Hansen scored in Denmark's opening 2-1 victory over Montenegro. His Bodø/Glimt form backs up the attention: seven goals and three assists in 12 Eliteserien appearances this season, with 12 goals in 14 games at Denmark under-17 level.
Hansen joined Bodø/Glimt from AGF in January 2025 on a deal until 2027 and has made himself a first-team regular at a club that has punched above its weight in European football in recent seasons. He operates as a centre-forward with the intelligence and movement to play off either flank, and has scored multiple hat-tricks in cup football since arriving in Norway.
When asked about Barcelona's reported interest, Hansen declined to elaborate.
"I'll keep that to myself — unfortunately I can't say anything about it. It's fantastic. I can handle this. It's good that people believe in me."
He acknowledged the scale of the clubs following him without apparent alarm.
"As a child, I dreamed of playing for Real Madrid, Manchester City, PSG, Barcelona and other big clubs. Now I'm very happy at Bodø/Glimt."
Newcastle United's position is complicated by Premier League regulations governing the signing of players under 18 from outside the UK, which would require Hansen to turn 18 before joining properly — a restriction that works in Bodø/Glimt's favour. Spanish clubs face no equivalent barrier.
Bodø/Glimt sporting director Håvard Sakariassen has been transparent about the situation: "Saying he's not for sale also depends on money. That will be a factor for the club."
Barcelona's recruitment of Gordon's sale proceeds — and the financial runway it creates — makes the Camp Nou a credible destination if an offer meets Bodø/Glimt's valuation. A teenager with 19 goal involvements in his last 26 appearances will not stay under the radar for long.
