According to SportMediaset, Scalvini is set to extend his contract on a long-term basis with La Dea, even though his current deal does not expire until 2028. Talks over the new terms are understood to be in their final stages.
Newcastle and Tottenham have both been credited with checking on Scalvini's availability in recent transfer windows, but Atalanta have consistently rebuffed approaches, with the club said to value the centre-back at upwards of €50m given his importance to the team.
