Arsenal's Premier League title triumph has not reduced the club's appetite for strengthening ahead of next season.

After finally ending their wait for the championship and reaching the Champions League final, the Gunners are already being linked with fresh additions across several positions. One name now emerging from Turkey is Galatasaray forward Baris Alper Yilmaz.

Fanatik reports that Arsenal have identified the 26-year-old as a potential attacking reinforcement as Mikel Arteta and sporting director Andrea Berta continue assessing options for the summer market.

The Turkish international has enjoyed another impressive campaign for Galatasaray. His combination of pace, work rate and versatility has made him one of the standout performers in the Turkish Super Lig and an increasingly attractive option for clubs across Europe.

Reports suggest Arsenal are particularly interested in his ability to operate in multiple attacking roles. While Yilmaz has spent much of his career on either wing, he has also featured through the middle when required. That flexibility is believed to be one of the main reasons he has caught the attention of Arsenal's recruitment team.

The Gunners have been linked with several wide attackers in recent months as they look to add greater depth and competition in forward areas. Yilmaz would offer a different profile to many of the names already associated with a move to the Emirates Stadium.

Any deal, however, is unlikely to come cheaply.

Reports in Turkey indicate Galatasaray value the player at around €50 million and are under little pressure to sell. The Turkish champions regard Yilmaz as one of the most important members of their squad and would be reluctant to sanction a departure without a significant offer.

His current contract runs until 2028, further strengthening Galatasaray's negotiating position. That means Arsenal would almost certainly need to submit a major proposal if they decide to convert their interest into formal talks. Competition could also become a factor.

Yilmaz has attracted attention from several clubs thanks to his performances for both club and country, meaning Arsenal may not have a free run if the transfer market gathers momentum around the player.

For now, the interest remains at an exploratory stage. Arsenal continue to assess a number of attacking targets as they prepare for another campaign competing on multiple fronts.

Whether Yilmaz becomes a priority target remains to be seen, but the latest reports suggest the Galatasaray star is firmly on the radar of the Premier League champions.

With his versatility and strong form, he is the type of player capable of adding another dimension to Arteta's title-winning squad.
