The 20-year-old has signed a long-term deal that will keep him at Pittodrie until 2030.
Yogane began his development at Sheffield Wednesday's academy before switching to Brentford in 2022 at the age of 16. He progressed through the club's B team and made his first-team debut in September 2024, handed his bow by head coach Thomas Frank in a Carabao Cup win over Leyton Orient. He also featured on the bench in several Premier League matches.
After a loan spell at Exeter City, Yogane joined Dundee last season, where he made 42 appearances and established himself as a regular for the Dens Park club.
Aberdeen manager Stephen Robinson described the signing as an exciting addition to his squad.
"Tony is a really exciting prospect. He is a player with huge potential, as he demonstrated during his time with Dundee last season where he was one of the best players in the league," Robinson said. "There were several clubs interested in Tony so it's a real coup for us to get him committed on a long-term deal. Tony has a real drive to improve, he's hungry to succeed and we believe this is the right environment to continue his development while helping push the club forward."
Yogane spoke about how the move came together, having been impressed by his conversations with Robinson.
"After the season ended my agent told me Aberdeen were interested and things moved forward quickly. This is the next step up for me," Yogane said. "Aberdeen is a big club. I want to win things here. I spoke to the manager and he's a very passionate guy. He is someone who drives you and gets the best out of you. After speaking to him I was convinced I wanted to come here."
He added that facing Aberdeen last season had already left an impression on him.
"When we played against Aberdeen last season, I just had a good feeling about the club. Especially when you see the size of the support. I can't wait to see the fans. Hopefully it is an enjoyable season," Yogane said.
With his power, pace and technical quality, Yogane adds firepower and versatility to Aberdeen's attack ahead of the new season.
