Valencia set to push for permanent Ramazani deal as Leeds demand €10-12m

Valencia are working to sign Leeds United winger Largie Ramazani permanently this summer after the Belgian's form in the second half of the season convinced the Spanish club he is worth keeping.

Leeds United are asking for €10 million to €12 million for the 25-year-old, whose loan deal at the Mestalla expires at the end of the season. According to Radio Marca Valencia, Daniel Farke's side have already communicated the fee to agents and intermediaries, though they have indicated a willingness to negotiate if the full amount cannot be reached. There is no option to buy in Ramazani's current loan agreement, meaning fresh terms must be agreed between the clubs.

Ramazani joined Leeds from Almería in August 2024 and contributed seven goals in 29 appearances during the Championship-winning season, though he started only seven matches. He was loaned to Valencia last summer having been deemed surplus to requirements for Farke's top-flight plans.

The first half of the season in Spain was disrupted by injury and limited game time. From January onwards, however, the picture changed sharply. All six of his goals for Valencia have come in 2026 — including a long-range strike against Levante that won La Liga's goal of the month — along with two assists in 26 appearances.

Valencia chief executive Ron Gourlay has been in direct contact with Leeds over the financial terms of a permanent deal, with the club keen to complete an agreement before pre-season begins. Ramazani himself has left the door open.

"We'll do the analysis at the end of the season, and I'm going to continue as I have been. I'm ambitious and I'm going to work until the end of the season," he said recently.

The gap between the clubs may require compromise. Valencia have faced well-documented financial difficulties in recent years and their ability to meet Leeds' asking price outright is unclear.

The presence of Serie A interest, with clubs from Italy also understood to be monitoring Ramazani, gives Leeds some leverage but could equally complicate a deal if Valencia cannot move quickly.

Ramazani has two years left on his contract at Elland Road, which gives Farke's side a comfortable negotiating position. Selling him this summer would allow Leeds to reinvest, and the club's desire to move on from him — despite his form in Spain — has been consistent throughout the season.
