West Ham United have signed Solomon on a three-year deal in a package worth £5m plus £2m in potential add-ons, making the Israel international, capped 48 times, the Championship club's third permanent signing of the summer following Keiber Lamadrid and Joel Veltman.
Solomon made just 19 appearances for Tottenham after joining in 2023, spending time on loan at Leeds United, Villarreal and Fiorentina, with his loan spell at Elland Road - where he scored 10 goals and provided 12 assists to help fire Leeds to the Championship title - proving by far his most productive spell in England.
"I know West Ham have a rich history both in the Premier League and in Europe," Solomon said. "It's a club that won a European trophy just three years ago, and I think this is where the club should be, and I'm here to help the club and to be where it belongs.
"Of course, our first task is to get promoted, to go back to the Premier League."
He will wear the number 10 shirt for West Ham as they prepare for a first season outside the top flight since 2011-12.
Van de Ven's new deal, meanwhile, ties the Netherlands international to Tottenham until the summer of 2031, extending an agreement originally set to run until 2029 when he joined from Wolfsburg in 2023. BBC Sport reports Van de Ven had been considering his future in north London before the appointment of Roberto De Zerbi in March, with the Italian's arrival proving the crucial factor in the 25-year-old's decision to commit his long-term future to the club.
"I've always loved Spurs, from the first day I stepped in here," Van de Ven said.
"I love the club, I love the fans and I've developed really well here. It's clear the direction the club wants to go in and I want to be a part of it. I'm excited about what's to come."
De Zerbi described Van de Ven as "one of the best centre-backs in Europe and an important player for us. We are building something strong here, and players like Micky are an important part of that future."
Van de Ven has made 96 appearances in all competitions since arriving from the Bundesliga, scoring 10 goals, and helped Spurs win the Europa League in 2025 before captaining the side during the final six matches of last season as Tottenham escaped relegation on the final day, following back-to-back 17th-place finishes.
