A crowd of 11,000 packed the ground — filling it to capacity — to witness a comeback from the 2-0 aggregate disadvantage that Castilla had carried into the night.
Two goals from Priego, including a 90th-minute winner that sent the stadium into delirium, and a strike from David Astals did the damage as Sabadell's relentless pressure overwhelmed a Real Madrid Castilla side who had controlled much of the first leg but fell apart at the crucial moments.
The match was not without controversy. Early in the game, with the score at 0-0, the referee declined to award a penalty when Kaiser clearly fouled Joan Martínez, a decision that was reviewed and upheld. The second goal, scored by Astals in the 32nd minute, was also disputed — Castilla's players protesting that Miguelete had fouled Thiago Pitarch in the build-up.
The path to the first goal had come through a double error. Lamini's loose pass and Fran González's mistaken attempt to gather the ball with his hands gave Sabadell a free kick that Priego converted in the 30th minute, breaking Castilla's composure at the worst possible moment.
Fuoli made a critical save early in the second half — turning away a Ciria header with the palo also helping — before the game settled into a tense standoff with both teams aware that one more goal would likely be decisive.
It arrived deep into stoppage time. Lamini lost track of Priego, who punished the lapse to complete his brace and send Sabadell into the final.
