According to Marca, the club has now informed Vinicius' camp that the offer on the table will not be improved and there will be no further rounds of negotiation. The position is straightforward: if Vinicius accepts, he renews; if he does not, Madrid will explore a sale this summer rather than risk losing him for nothing when his contract, which runs to June 2027, enters its final year.
Real Madrid continue to regard Vinicius as a key player and insist their priority remains extending his stay, acknowledging that his performances over the past few seasons — 22 goals and 14 assists last season alone — merit a significant financial upgrade.
But the club has drawn a clear line: it will not break the dressing room's salary structure for any player, however important, and reports suggest Vinicius wants parity with Kylian Mbappé's wages, a demand Madrid are not willing to meet.
Despite the hardline stance from the club, Vinicius has made no public move to force an exit and has not indicated any desire to leave the Bernabeu. Arsenal's interest remains at an early, informal stage, and even in England the expectation is that his preference is still to stay in Madrid if the two sides can find middle ground.
