Napoli are set to welcome Costantino Favasuli and Benoit Badiashile in the coming hours, with Cyril Ngonge's departure to newly promoted Monza looking increasingly likely.

Favasuli and Badiashile are both due at Napoli's medical facility to complete the formalities of their respective moves, while Ngonge, on his way out of the club, could remain in Serie A if a deal with Monza is finalised.

According to Sky Sport, Monza have made a firm push for the Belgian forward, with the promoted side hoping to close a deal in the coming hours.

Ngonge, born in 2000, spent last season split between Torino and Espanyol, managing one goal and four assists across 32 competitive appearances during that time. Napoli originally paid Hellas Verona around €20 million for the forward in January 2024, but he has struggled to make the impact expected of him since arriving at the club.

With Ngonge's exit expected to help fund incomings, Napoli's business elsewhere continues to take shape. Favasuli arrives from Catanzaro in a deal structured as a €1 million loan with a €6 million obligation to buy, while Badiashile joins on loan from Chelsea for a fee in the region of €3 million, with an option to make the move permanent for a further €27 million.

Ngonge's move to Monza would mark his fourth club in as many seasons since leaving Hellas Verona, continuing a career path defined by loan spells since his big-money switch to Naples.

For Monza, back in Serie A after winning last season's promotion playoff against Catanzaro, the Belgian would add pace and unpredictability out wide as the newly promoted side looks to strengthen its attacking options ahead of the new campaign.

Both incoming deals form part of head coach Massimiliano Allegri's broader squad rebuild this summer, with Napoli continuing to balance fresh investment against the need to move on players outside his immediate plans.

Favasuli, a 21-year-old full-back, is seen as valuable competition and cover for Giovanni Di Lorenzo, while Badiashile offers Napoli further defensive depth following injury concerns elsewhere in the squad. Both players are expected to be available for selection once the formalities of their moves are completed in the coming days.
