The former Rossoneri forward says the Croatian legend brings qualities that cannot be measured by age alone.
"Modric means experience, respectability, personality, class and quality," Incocciati told Football Presse.
"He is a player we all know very well."
Of course, time waits for no one.
"Yes, age is moving forward for him too," Incocciati admitted.
"But physically he is still in very good condition. He is short and agile. Perhaps he can still give a few important years."
The key, according to Incocciati, is motivation.
"If he has the same enthusiasm he had at Real Madrid, he can give a great help to the Milan fans."
But he also warned that Modric will need support.
"In La Liga there is a different interpretation of football. It is more technical. Most players know how to handle the ball well."
"In Italy maybe a little less. A player like Modric will need team mates of important quality. Otherwise it will be difficult to combine with them if they do not read the same things."
In other words, class needs class.
And if Milan provide that platform, Incocciati believes Modric can still light up San Siro.
