Former Manchester United striker Anthony Martial has been transfer-listed by Mexican giants Monterrey.

Now 30, the former France international moved to LigaMX last year to much fanfare, but the move hasn't worked out for both player and club.

His statistics with Rayados are modest, with one goal and three assists in 21 appearances, including six starts.

Last week, he was even dropped by his coach, Nicolás Sánchez, following behavioral issues. The Frenchman was visibly angry on the bench when a young teammate was chosen ahead of him to come on as a substitute against Chivas de Guadalajara.

He has since been reinstated by management, but his stay is likely to be short.

As such, Martial is not expected to remain in Monterrey for long. Several Mexican media outlets, including SoyFutbol and RG La Deportiva, state the club's management reinstated him for image reasons and to avoid damaging the player's value, as they are now trying to offload him.

With his contract running to June 2027, his price tag has been set at $3 million. MLS clubs Orlando City, Los Angeles FC, and the New England Revolution have all been made aware of Martial's availability.
