According to TMW, Milan have asked Braga for information on Jean-Baptiste Gorby, the French-Haitian midfielder identified as a possible option should Youssouf Fofana leave this summer. The 23-year-old, under contract at the Portuguese club until 2028, would cost in the region of €20m, with Manchester United also credited with interest in the player alongside Milan.
Gorby progressed through Braga's academy after arriving from Nantes in 2021, working his way up via a loan at Paços de Ferreira before establishing himself as a regular in the Portuguese top flight.
At the other end of the squad, Estupinan's Milan future looks increasingly uncertain. The 1998-born full-back arrived last season and finished his debut campaign with 22 appearances, one goal and an assist, numbers that failed to fully win over the club or head coach Ruben Amorim.
Amorim does not consider the defender undroppable, and AC Milan are said to be open to offers for his services this summer.
Journalist Matteo Moretto reports that Aston Villa have already made an initial approach to gauge the terms of a potential deal and establish Milan's valuation of the player. No formal offer has been submitted yet, but Milan value the former Brighton man at around €20m, a figure that would represent a swift, if modest, turnaround on a player signed only twelve months ago.
Gorby's profile fits a broader pattern in Milan's recruitment this summer, with the club continuing to scan Portugal for talent as they look to reshape Amorim's midfield options. Fofana's own situation remains unresolved, but Milan appear keen to have alternatives lined up regardless of how that saga develops, and Gorby's versatility and physical profile in the middle of the park have made him a player worth tracking closely even before any departure is confirmed.
For Estupinan, a move to Aston Villa would offer a path back to regular football after a difficult first season in Serie A failed to establish him as a fixture in Milan's plans.
Aston Villa's interest comes amid their own reshaping of the squad this summer, and while talks remain at an early, exploratory stage, Milan's willingness to engage suggests a deal could progress quickly if Villa choose to formalise their interest with an offer closer to the figure being sought.
