Leeds United have tied down two key defenders for the long term, with Joe Rodon and Jayden Bogle both signing new four-year contracts within 24 hours of each other that will keep the pair at Elland Road until 2030.
Rodon, who arrived on loan from Tottenham ahead of the 2023/24 season before a permanent switch a year later, described the decision as an easy one.
"I think I have said it since day one, since I have come into this club, everyone in the club has been absolutely brilliant with me and I have loved it," Rodon told LUTV.
"So, to extend my time here and hopefully spend many more years here, just looking forward to a successful future. For me, I think the direction we have come in and kind of the journey I have been on since I have been here, the ambition and the project that is happening here, it was a no-brainer.
"It is the happiest I have been in my career. It is like my second home now, Leeds."
The centre-back played almost every minute as Leeds won the Championship title, and started 35 Premier League games last term as the club settled back into the top flight in an impressive 14th-place finish.
Bogle, who joined from Sheffield United in 2024, was similarly effusive about extending his stay.
"It was an easy one for me," he said. "Proud โ I had a bit of time to reflect on how the journey has gone so far. It has been special. Something that you dream of when you are a kid is playing in an atmosphere like this, competing in the best league in the world."
The 26-year-old was named in the Championship Team of the Season during Leeds' title-winning campaign, contributing six goals and five assists, before making 39 appearances in all competitions last season as he adapted his game to the Premier League.
Both defenders will hope to hit the ground running when Leeds open their 2026/27 season at Nottingham Forest this weekend, with the club having also added Tarik Muharemovic, Nico Elvedi, James Trafford and Harry Wilson to the squad over the summer.
