Teun Koopmeiners and Randal Kolo Muani were pleased with Juventus' victory over AZ, with both players emphasising the importance of the result and the need to carry their momentum into the weekend meeting with Fiorentina.

Speaking to Sky Sport after the Europa League match, Koopmeiners described the occasion as a special one, pointing to the atmosphere created by the home supporters and the importance of contributing with a goal.

"It was a beautiful evening. We won and that's the most important thing. With the fans and the choreography, the welcome here is warm. I always want to give my maximum, and the goal helps a little," the midfielder said.

The Dutchman also revealed that playing against his brother, Peer Koopmeiners, who featured for AZ, added another dimension to the contest.

"In the first half, perhaps with my brother, there was a little match within the match. He played a lot on the left, then in the second half I told him we were 2-0 up," he said with a laugh.

Their father, he explained, found the occasion particularly difficult.

"Our father is a psychologist, but you can't work with him during matches. He's too nervous when we play. Especially tonight, because both his sons were involved. I think after 20 minutes he went back to the car. Peer was a little angry, but that's fine."

Koopmeiners said his recent performances had given him confidence, but insisted he must continue to work for the team.

"In the last few matches I've played well. I have to give everything for the team. At the weekend I have to continue like this against Fiorentina. I have to stay calm in my head to help the team."

Kolo Muani was equally satisfied with the performance, highlighting the importance of taking the three points and maintaining the improvement shown in recent matches.

"It was a very good match and I'm proud of what I did. I think we had our chances. I'm happy with the goal we managed to score, we've taken the three points and now we think about the next game," the striker said.

The Frenchman added that scoring remains a fundamental part of his responsibility, while stressing that Juventus must quickly turn their attention back to domestic action.

"I'm a striker, I have to score goals. I'm proud to have done that, but we have to keep going in Serie A at the weekend."

He also felt the recent victory over Napoli had helped restore confidence within the squad after a difficult period.

"The victory against Napoli did us good and strengthened us. We were on the verge of a crisis, but tonight we're going home with the three points and we're happy about that."

Kolo Muani praised the support he has received from the coaching staff, adding that criticism can also help players improve.

"It's always nice to have a coach who supports us. Even criticism is always constructive; it helps us give our maximum for Juventus."

The forward also made clear that he is comfortable playing in different positions, insisting that his priority is contributing to the collective effort.

"As long as I'm on the pitch, the position doesn't matter. I have no problem with that. The important thing for me is always giving my maximum for the team."

With Fiorentina next on the schedule, both players will be hoping the European result can provide a platform for Juventus to maintain their progress.
