The Bundesliga champions are keen to extend the striker's stay in Bavaria, and it is understood Kane is aware of the club's intention to offer him fresh terms, with discussions expected to progress in the coming weeks.
The 32-year-old joined Bayern Munich from Tottenham in 2023 in a deal reported at an initial ยฃ86m, and has gone on to establish himself as one of the most prolific forwards in the club's history, scoring 146 goals in 134 appearances while helping Bayern win back-to-back Bundesliga titles and, this year, a first DFB-Pokal since 2020.
Kane's standing has only grown further after a productive World Cup with England, for whom he scored six goals as the Three Lions reached the last four before finishing third at the tournament.
His club form has been similarly relentless: the striker was again the Bundesliga's top scorer in 2025-26, netting 36 league goals, and was crowned Europe's Golden Shoe winner on the back of one of the most productive individual seasons in the competition's history.
Kane arrived in Germany as Tottenham's all-time leading scorer and has since become the fastest player in Bundesliga history to reach 100 goals for the club, doing so in just 76 appearances. He is also the first Englishman to finish a Bundesliga season as top scorer, a feat he has now managed in each of his three campaigns in Germany.
Despite Bayern's determination to secure his long-term future, Kane continues to attract interest from clubs across Europe and beyond. Barcelona have maintained a long-standing interest in the England captain, while clubs in Saudi Arabia have also been credited with interest in luring him to the Middle East.
Bayern's admiration for Kane has never been in doubt. Club officials have previously said they would pay his transfer fee "again and again" given his scoring returns, and any new contract is expected to reflect his status as one of the leading forwards in world football as talks progress in the coming weeks.
