Morgan Rogers has reportedly decided he wants to leave Aston Villa this summer, with Arsenal, Chelsea, Manchester United and Bayern Munich all ready to test Villa's resolve for one of the Premier League's most coveted attackers.

Villa tied Rogers down to a new contract until 2031 back in November. It has done nothing to cool the interest. The 23-year-old has been a revelation since arriving from Middlesbrough in February 2024, recording 24 goals and 23 assists since the start of last season.

He won the PFA Young Player of the Season award for 2024-25 and has become a fixture in Thomas Tuchel's England plans ahead of this summer's World Cup.Villa will demand a minimum of £80 million, with that figure likely to climb towards £100 million if a bidding war develops.

Middlesbrough are entitled to 20 per cent of any profit from a sale, having negotiated a sell-on clause when Rogers left the Riverside.

Arsenal and Manchester United share the most specific need. Both clubs are in the market for a high-quality left-sided attacking option this summer, and Rogers' ability to play across multiple positions in the front line makes him particularly attractive, reports Mirror Football.

Arsenal have been admirers for some time. United, under new management, have shown a clear preference for Premier League-proven talent and Rogers fits the profile precisely.Chelsea made their interest known last summer and retain a strong interest. Bayern Munich add an international dimension — Rogers impressed in the Champions League for Villa last season, and Kompany's side have scored 100 Bundesliga goals already this term.

Villa are not actively looking to sell. Rogers has a strong relationship with manager Unai Emery and is not pushing for a move. But the club face financial pressures, and a sale at £80 million or above is described as the most straightforward way to alleviate them without breaching financial rules.

A strong World Cup would only complicate matters further.
