Since joining from Stade Rennais in the summer of 2023, Doku has established himself as one of the most exciting wide players in the Premier League, blending searing pace with brilliant close control and a growing eye for goal.
The 24-year-old has made 131 appearances for City, scoring 22 goals, while showing the versatility to play on either flank or in a more central role when required, and has been a key contributor to five major trophies during his time at the club, including a Premier League title, the FA Cup, Carabao Cup, FIFA Club World Cup and Community Shield.
"I have loved my time at City so far, so to have the opportunity to stay for longer is a fantastic feeling," Doku said.
"This club means so much to me - I have developed as both a player and a person. I feel settled here, and I know I am improving every day because of the work the staff here do.
"With Enzo (Maresca) here now I am really excited about the new season. His style of football is the kind we love, so that's exciting for the players. The City fans are also a huge reason I have signed this new contract. I feel their love and support, and it means the world to me."
Manchester City director of football Hugo Viana said the club's decision to tie Doku down reflected his standing within the squad.
"Jérémy is a huge talent whose improvement since joining us in 2023 is clear for all to see. He has a special dynamic. He has the right characteristics for what we are looking for in a winger. He really does bring a special quality to our team," Viana said.
"He is also a fantastic person. He is someone loved across the club. His attitude is first class, and he wants to improve every single day. He deserves this new deal, and I know he will continue his improvement in the coming months and years."
Doku's new deal follows what he considers his finest season yet at City, contributing eight goals and 14 assists last term as the club won both the FA Cup and Carabao Cup.
"I feel like compared to the other two seasons, it was more complete last season," he reflected. "I played more, I was more efficient, and there were goals and assists. But compared to the other two seasons there has been growth, positively, every season better. I feel like I'm still an unfinished project."
One of Belgium's most important internationals, Doku has won 48 caps and helped his country reach the quarter-finals of this summer's World Cup. He now begins a new chapter under recently appointed head coach Enzo Maresca, with the winger keen to add further silverware to his collection.
"I think everyone wants to play in a team that wins a lot, so I think I'm at the right place if you want to win trophies, if you want to be up there, if you want to grow as a player," Doku said. "So that's why I feel like this decision has been an easy one."
