Chelsea, Manchester United, Newcastle United, Tottenham Hotspur and Atlético Madrid are all keeping tabs on the 21-year-old, nicknamed "Tigrinho," as they weigh up potential offensive additions once the winter market opens, according to reports in the Spanish press.
All five clubs are said to be gathering information on the striker rather than preparing concrete bids at this stage.
Roque's European career to date has been a difficult one. He joined Barcelona from Athletico Paranaense in January 2024 amid considerable hype but managed only a handful of appearances before being loaned to Real Betis, where he also struggled to hold down a regular starting place. He returned to Brazil in February 2025, signing a long-term contract with Palmeiras that runs until December 2029.
The move home has revived his career. Roque has scored four goals and added an assist in 14 appearances in the current Brazilian league campaign, following a productive first full season back at the club that first alerted European scouts to his rediscovered form; he managed 20 goals in 53 appearances across all competitions in that debut year.
Palmeiras are under no financial pressure to sell in the short term given the length of his contract, and reports on his valuation vary significantly, with some Spanish outlets citing a figure of around €38 million and others suggesting Palmeiras would hold out for closer to €60 million.
Atletico Madrid's interest is reportedly linked to their search for attacking reinforcements after securing Julián Álvarez's long-term future at the club, while the four Premier League sides are said to see Roque as an available alternative to more expensive targets given his relatively modest valuation compared with other strikers of his profile.
Manchester United and Tottenham have previously been credited with interest in the forward earlier in his career, before he left for Europe as a teenager amid comparisons to Brazilian greats. Any of the five clubs would face competition from the others should they choose to move for the forward when the window reopens in January.
