The 24-year-old Morocco international is reportedly determined to remain at the Benito Villamarín until at least the end of the season, with sources close to the player telling AfricaFoot that he does not want to change clubs in the upcoming winter market.
Paris Saint-Germain have been strongly linked with the winger in recent days. The French champions are said to view Abde as a potential replacement for Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, who is currently injured.
Abde is aware of the interest but believes continuing his development at Betis is the best option for his career at this stage. He has also rejected the possibility of returning to Barcelona, who retain 20 per cent of his rights.
However, the report states that Barcelona have not held direct discussions with either the player or his representatives over a possible move.
Real Betis are also understood to be unwilling to consider offers during the middle of the campaign. Abde has become an important part of Manuel Pellegrini's plans, and his departure would leave the club with a significant gap to fill.
The Andalusian side are therefore expected to wait until at least the summer before considering his future. Any eventual sale would need to bring in a substantial fee, given his importance to the team and the club's reluctance to lose him during the season.
For now, the winger's preference is clear: he wants to stay at Betis, with both PSG and Barcelona seemingly facing a wait if they intend to pursue him.
